Nentego Lodge 20

Nentego 20 Fish Pin Awards

Since serving on the cook crew, being an elangomat, doing special service for the Lodge Chief or the lodge, or even attending a majority of the Lodge events is not a requirement, Nentego Lodge 20 has a special way of recognizing those arrowman who do more than expected within the lodge.

Red Fish Pin - Chief's 20
Each year the most prestigious of the fish pins, the chief's 20 is presented to the 20 arrowmen who best serve the lodge. Of course, there are only 20 handed out per year and that is what makes them very rare. The decision is solely on the Lodge Chief who chooses those who he believes have gone above and beyond what they have been asked to do. These arrowmen attend functions at both the lodge and chapter level, they help out where and when ever they are needed, and they truly exemplify the three principles of the Order of the Arrow.

Blue Fish Pin - Participation
The blue fish pin can be earned by anyone who participates in Lodge functions throughout the year. Those arrowmen wishing to earn the blue fish pin must do the following: attend the lodge banquet and attend two other functions of the lodge (weekends, conclave, NOAC, or one day event such as a special brotherhood day or one day work project). After they have completed these requirements, they will be presented their blue fin pin at the next years lodge banquet. This pin can be earned every year.

Green Fish Pin - Elangomat
The green fish pin can be earned by anyone who serves the lodge as an Elangomat three times. Just as there were Elangomats on your Ordeal, you serve as the friend to new candidates coming into our Lodge. Once you have completed being an Elangomat for the third time, you will be recognized with the green fish pin. The recommended way to complete this award would be to volunteer as an Elangomat for all three weekends in one year. This way the award can be earned every year.

Black Fish Pin - Cook Crew
The black fish pin can be earned by anyone who serves the lodge on the cook crew three times. Volunteer in the kitchen on three weekends, helping prepare food and serving your fellow arrowmen, and you will be recognized with the black fish pin. The recommended way to complete this award would be to volunteer on cook crew for all three weekends in one year. This way the award can be earned every year.
